Sims 3 mod folder not working

September I took another screenshot and looked over it and it appears I can't scroll down any further and there are no more files after the WorldCaches.

Go to Solution. Callmemckailya The problem is clear from your first screenshot: your Mods folder, the one that has the resource. That doesn't work—the game can't read the files. View in thread. Callmemckailya The app set to open resource. However, if you think you might have changed anything about it, it's best to delete that copy and download a new one.

Please also delete the five cache files in your Sims 3 user data folder, as in, the one where you added your mods. These files should be deleted any time you add or remove content from that folder. For reference, they are:. I deleted those things, I am going to try it now.

April - last edited April Callmemckailya Please open a File Explorer window, open the folder that has your mods in it so they're all showing, and take a screenshot. If you'd like to black out your username in the file path above the list of files , go ahead, but leave the rest of the file path intact. Please also take a screenshot of the Sims 3 folder that has the Mods folder in it, again with the file path showing.
